#i like so much the idea that villains are villainous bcs the story demands it #like they more than anyone are the protagonist’s obedient ally #for without them how should the protagonist become a hero? #he is EXHAUSTED from living up to her expectations of the fairy king #can’t they just snuggle and watch late night reruns already? #i am never sure of the exact specific way i otp this #since her triumph is so centered around her rejection of him and i don’t want to forget that #but uggggggh #faces
